There's obviously been a massive shift from the old system (which I never understood anyways), so a fresh FAQ should be posted. I'm also having trouble figuring out how to set up a wish list - but I'm guessing the fact that I don't have the points quite yet for what I'm looking at might be interfering with that.

Click on DKP on the side of the main page. Then on the list on the right, click on your name. Click on "Wish List" in the column on the right side. There will be a button that says "Add Item" I think. Click it and type like the first letter of the abjuration name (not the finished item) or the Odin-specific non-abj item you want to list. Click "ok" or whatever that button says (I'm sleepy and don't remember). Just repeat for however many items you need to add.

i understand how the big number system was condensed into smaller numbers to avoid confusing people i guess (particularly new members), but <,< looks like some item values changed as well during the division. explanation prz?

also, found wishlist button, but cannot add to wishlist, prz assist kthxbai.

For the wishlist.
You need to use the wishlist button located on your member page, not on the item page.

Steps:

1. Click on the top banner to take you to the home page.
2. On the left hand side of the page click on DKP.
3. On the left hand side of the page click on Members.
4. Find your name on the list and click it.
5. On the top right corner of the page there should be a "Add Wish" button. Click that.
6. A window will pop up, begin typing your item and it will even show item suggestions based on what you are typing
7. Click the add button at the bottom of this window.

It is a little odd, but they are still figuring things out.

Yeah, I edited the point values with a few things in mind (they may still be tweaked a bit).

People at the top need to have a large chunk taken away when they get an item (approx. 60%) and and important thing to note that the values will NOT take you negative if you don't have enough.

This allows people at the top to bring themselves down to then fairer levels quicker while letting new people still get the other drops without worrying about going in the hole.

The reason the points are so skewed right now (and the item drops are so high) is that with the bad attendance we've had lately we end up doing like 20 runs in between Odins, which means people get 20 runs worth of points before they get a chance to use them… and that causes people to get HUGE amounts of points.

… which is why I shifted the points. I'll post more later once the site gets set up more, but the gist is simple:

- runs used to be worth 150 points with 50 point "on time" bonus. Now they're worth 1.5 and .5.

- total points were divided by 100 to account for the shift in point values. (rounded up)

- item values were tweaked to try and level the playing field as people get more drops.

If you have input on the value of items (in points) let me know, I'm still trying to find the best happy medium for them.
